Automatically start Xlight FTP server

Xlight FTP server could start with Windows automatically. This can be done either by installing it as the system service in Window 2000 and above, or by putting it as a shortcut in the startup folder or an entry in the Registry (Window 98, Window Me) "\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run". The command line option -startall can be used to start virtual servers automatically.

Install Xlight FTP server as a system service

In the "Global Option", from "[General] -> [System Service]", Click the Setup...button in the option"Manage the system service of ftp server". In the dialog box, click the "Install Service" button to install the Xlight FTP server as a system service.

Another way to install Xlight FTP Server as a Windows system service: If you installed the Xlight FTP Server from its installer(setup.exe), from the Windows menu "Start->Xlight FTP Server->Administrate service", you will find the following menu. Using this menu, you can install and uninstall Xlight FTP Server as a Windows system service.

Install service - Select "Install as service" in above menu, it will install the Xlight FTP server as a service and start the service.

Uninstall service - Select "Uninstall service" in above menu, it will uninstall the Xlight FTP service and stop the service.
